As it turned out, the race was for entertainment purposes only. Jackie Stone, #17, appeared to win. However, in postrace inspection, the entire field was disqualified.
The Outlaws took to the track for the third feature of the night. Tyler Church, #1X was fastest with a speed of 15.205, 94.705 mph. There was only one caution during the event. It didn’t take long for the first yellow to come out. The cars of Ethan Johnson, #27, Jeff Simpson, #07, Billy Smith, #98, and Santiago Hill, #9H were all involved in an altercation in turn 4 on lap 1. Lap 47 saw the second caution. However, Davey Smart, #14, spun in turn 2 on the last lap. Gary Ledbetter, #8, went on to win. It appeared that Johnny Reynolds, #55, was second. However, Reynolds refused a postrace tear down and was dq’d. This made Franks the second place finisher and Mike Hatton, #12, was third.
The Late Model feature division rolled off as the 8th race of the night. 15.409, 93.451 was the lap time in qualifying that put Graham Hollar, #25H, on the pole. The cars of Charlie Watson, #9, Tyler Chapman, #28, and Dillon Houser all became entangled in turn 2 of lap 2 to bring out yellow #1. Lap 12 saw caution #2 happen when Taylor Satterfield, #40, slowed to a stop on the track with a flat tire. Lap 15 saw caution 3 when Austin McDaniel, #12, and Sylas Ripley, #09, had their own incident on the backstretch. After racing resumed, the yellow was waved on lap 44, when Thomas Beane slowed to a stop with a cut tire on lap 44. The last yellow waved was on lap 64 when Landon Huffman also slowed to a stop after damaged from contact with another car. Carson Kvapil, #32, won the Late Model race and DJ Canipe, #29, came home second. It appeared that Charlie Watson was third. However, a retaliatory move after the race was over got him dq’d. The third place finisher was Hollar.
